My kitten oscar

My kitten Oscar is 9 weeks old. I got 3 days after Christmas. He likes sleeping, watching t.v, playing with me and eating.  He chewed off 2 bells on his favorite toy and he nibbles my fingers. He has a squeaky meow.

The other night I was in my bed asleep and he came into my bed and woke me up and I snuggled him for a little while and then gave him to mum and dad and went to bed.

Oscar is grey, and very fluffy with green eyes. He wears a blue collar with white polka dots and a bell on it. Its good he has a bell because we can hear him wherever he goes.

The people we got him from put a black collar on him but we changed it. When we went to pick him up I was wearing my reindeer headband and when he saw me he was hissing and all fur puffed up and he was scared and mum told me to take off my headband in case he was scared of it and when I did he stopped hissing. He thought I was a dog with the headband on.

He liked the car ride home.

I think he is very cute, and I love him. I love having a pet I haven't had one for three years.

When I was holding him in this photo I did not know he was poking his tongue out.

  1. Kia ora Emilie,

Charlotte here from the SLJ team.

Wow, what a gorgeous kitten Oscar is! He is a very lucky boy. It is so funny that he chewed off the bells on his toy - cheeky kitten!

I currently only have one goldfish as a pet! I would love to have a dog or a cat though. Had you been wanting a kitten for awhile?

Have you tried the blogging activities for this year’s Summer Learning Journey site?

Everyone who participates will receive a certificate and a digital badge for their blog and there are some great prizes up for grabs for our most active bloggers. It's also a lot of fun! You can register here.

    Ngā mihi,

    1. Hi Charlotte, thank you for your comment. Yes I had been wanting a kitten for a long long time. I used to have two fish a gold and a black one but they all died. Mum tried to register me for the slj but it won't let us select our school once we go to our cluster.

  2. Kia ora Emilie,

Oh no! I’m not sure why that happened.

I just went to the form and it allowed me to select your school (it’s at the bottom of the list). If you have any issues again please let me know. I think it should work now though!

Here is the link for your cluster:

    Form.

    All the best,

    Charlotte
