This is my duper duper solar swatter invention.
It has a solar panel that charges it up, then you push a button and it starts spinning and swatting. You put it at the front of your tent or you could buy 4 and put them all around the tent. They squash the bugs so they do not come in to your tent and bite or sting you.
I do not like sandflies or mosquitoes.
Here is my photo.
Hey Emilie,
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome invention, I could have really used it this week, I'm too tall for my bed at camp and my feet hang over the edge and I've gotten lots of mosquito bites on my feet and ankles.
Making it solar powered is a great idea as if your camping outside there won't be any plugs to power it. Would it work like some outdoor solar lights and absorb power during the day then turn on at night when your sleeping?
Great stuff,
See you later in the comments,
Daniel

ReplyDeleteBenjamin here from the SLJ commenting team,
Awesome illustration, it caught my eye as I was browsing. The invention seems really effective, I’d be nervous if I were a fly or mosquito!
I’m quite lucky, I don’t get bitten by insects very often. I mustn't be very appetising! I haven’t noticed many insects in general this summer come to think of it.
Thanks for sharing a cool post Emilie, take it easy!
Benjamin.
